Easy As 1, 2, 3

It's about a 3 hour drive from Austin to Houston, depending on traffic and how badly you want to tease the cops; to pass the time, you clearly have to do something. We play the Alphabet game. Preeeety self-explanitory. First letters of words only. Keep in mind- all pictures were taken in a vehicle moving at about ::cough:: 80m mph ::cough:: so if there's some blur, I apologize. Also, you can actually watch night fall over the course of these pictures. Sweet.

A

Auto Zone is basically the coolest sign to start with because it's both the beginning and the end... ahhh zen.

This was taken where we stopped to take pictures of the abandoned building. Post about that later. I find it really entertaining juxtaposed with the building. I suppose it's not illegal dumping, but the building might as well be a dump for some of the most random stuff. Also, 'No Dumps'... just saying

G (really hard to see- it says 'Grill')

I would appreciate if more people named their ranches things like J Q X Z Ranch. It would help with letter games for people driving.

X

I don't think I realized just how few words start with the letter 'X' until I started playing this game. There aren't any. Especially words used on signs. You have to wait for that one magical person who's too lazy to actually write out a whole word to get an 'X'. This sign was posted by that one person. Thank goodness- we were almost to our destination (I think 'X' took us an hour).

Z

Ahhh, the beginning is the end and the end is the beginning. This just pleased me. (And yes, it's a different Auto Zone, couple blocks from the house).
